Self Love

Self Love by Tabitha

I think that self-love is more than just ‘pampering and taking care of yourself’.

It is the act of facing the most shameful and unbecoming decisions you’ve made, and learning to let them go.

It is forgiving yourself for the things you’ve done in the past, and the people you’ve hurt in the process of your evolution.

Harboring emotions of guilt and self-loathing don’t do you any good. So if you can learn to truly, deeply pardon yourself, then you’ve already given yourself so much love.

What you do next is completely within your control. Your thoughts and actions are up to you.

Everyday is a new beginning. The past is simply a memory, and the future your imagination.

All you have is Now – this very moment, and what you choose to do with it.

Just remember this.. you came from a place of love and perfection - that is what you are. You don’t have to prove it to anyone but yourself. Believe it. Feel it. Embody it.

Self-love is facing the raw, ugly, messy experiences, and acknowledging deep within that it is a process of becoming the best version of You.
